Seira Yun is the Founder and CEO of Socious, a sustainability technology company helping enterprises measure, verify, and act on their sustainability commitments. The product suite includes Socious Report (AI-powered, audit-ready sustainability reporting for CSRD, SSBJ, and global disclosure mandates), Socious Work (sustainable workforce management), Socious Verify (sustainability verification), and Socious Fund (impact funding infrastructure). Socious works with organizations across the EU and Asia-Pacific to turn complex regulatory requirements into structured, verifiable outcomes.
Seira is also the founder of the Tech for Impact Summit, an invitation-only conference in Tokyo bringing together leaders at the intersection of technology and sustainability.
Before founding Socious, Seira led teams within the ICRC and UNHCR and exited a social venture in 2021. He holds a Master's in Social Innovation from the University of Cambridge, is a full-stack developer, and an impact angel investor. Drawing from personal experiences as a migrant, an autistic person, and a proud pansexual queer, he brings a deeply human perspective to building accountability systems. He serves on the board of TELL, a suicide prevention non-profit in Japan.
Seira's work has been featured in Nikkei and The Japan Times, and he was named Most Influential CEO in the Kanto Region by CEO Monthly.
