Miwa Seki

Miwa Seki is a General Partner at MPower Partners Fund L.P., Japan's first ESG-focused global venture capital fund, which she co-founded in May 2021 with Kathy Matsui and Yumiko Murakami. She serves as an outside director of ORIX Corporation and Daiwa House Industry, as well as Heralbony. She is also a board member of the Asian University for Women Support Foundation (Bangladesh), the Yanai Foundation, Fast Retailing Foundation, and LEDGE. Miwa holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She previously worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and served as Tokyo Branch Manager of Clay Finlay investment advisory. Since 2009, she has worked as a translator, producing the Japanese edition of the global bestseller FACTFULNESS among many other acclaimed titles.
