Masato Oowada

Masato joined Japan Convention Services in 1999, initially working in public services. He later moved to the Corporate Planning Office, where he built a nationwide network across Japan's MICE industry. He currently oversees the Community Development Division and New Business Division, driving initiatives centered on MICE venues as hubs for destination management, regional exchange population growth, and industrial revitalization across Tokyo, Sendai, Sapporo, Kobe, and Fukuoka. He is now exploring ways to integrate MICE with entrepreneurship support, SME development, and startups. He has delivered numerous lectures for municipalities and corporations throughout Japan.
